IP QoS Over ATM
Sitaraman VR, Ohio State University
Abstract:
This is a survey paper on IP QoS over ATM. It describes the need for QoS in the Internet and the mechanisms of QoS provisioning in IP. ATM is briefly described with a view to highlight its inherent support for QoS. Then, mechanisms of providing IP QoS over an ATM network are considered. Also issues that arise in implementing the various IP QoS over ATM is considered.
