"Effect of Number of Drop Precedences in Assured Forwarding,"IETF draft-goyal-dpstdy-diffserv-00.txt, March 1999.

This informational draft presents a simulation study of the effect of having different number of drop precedences in an Assured Forwarding [juha1] traffic class. The simulations involve both TCP and UDP traffic. The results show that discrimination between UDP and TCP Differentiated Services, Drop Precedences, Assured Forwarding, Quality of Services can be achieved with just 2 drop preferences.
