Olin Fellows are "recognized for past achievement and the promise of a distinguished career in the biomedical sciences". The Olin Fellowship is the highest award accorded a student by the Division.

Zach Beller is awarded a 2014 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) supported by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The research project is "Modulation of KCNQ1 gating by drugs".
