Opportunities for graduate students
We are looking for self-motivated and talented graduate students who are interested in studying fundamental physics and exploring interesting phenomena in nano/micro scale photonic devices. We are interested in students with background in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, optics, and materials science. Students with background in biology, physics and strong analytical skills are strongly recommended to apply. Currently special interests of this group is ultra-high-quality optical resonators and their applications for lasing, sensing, nonlinear optics and quantum information processing.
Opportunities for undergraduate students
We welcome undergraduate students who have passion in science and new technology in optics and photonics to join our group. Interesting projects in the areas of microfluidics, wet-chemical synthesis of photonic materials and nano/micro-fabrication of photonic devices are available for self-motivated undergraduate students.
